Although I was born in England, I have spent a very nomadic life, living in, and travelling to many different parts of the World.
I have had several exhibitions in Canada and have been exhibiting in England, in the South West, several times a year, since our return in 2004.
My childhood, for the most part, was spent in Canada, living on both the East and West coasts.
During my teenage years, the family returned to Dorset and I finished my education in England, after which I spent several years working in London.
My marriage, to an international banker, in my early 20’s, was to take me abroad once again. For the next thirty years we spent our time living in Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, the United States and Canada. This enabled us to travel extensively to many different and exotic countries, including The Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, South Africa, Kenya, The Seychelles, Mauritius, Bermuda, many islands in the Caribbean, not to mention travel in both the United States and Canada. Our two children remained with us throughout our travels as we firmly believe that living in, and travelling to different countries is an education within itself.
Ten years ago, whilst we were still living in Canada, I decided to concentrate on my life long ambition, and spend as much time as I could painting in watercolours. My subjects are very varied, reflecting my experiences in the different countries where I have either lived or visited.
